    Yea it'll depend on which looks cheaper to have built lol. I know most 351 full engines can be had for under a grand in great shape. Don't know about the R block.

    What is the R block? And is it reliable? I've always been told to stick with the boss block, the dart, or to try and find an old Mexican block. So I'm not too sure what the R is. Was that the one used in the Cobra R for 95?

    Yea I've heard a lot of good about him from local Ford guys and on many different Mustang forums. They all say great things about the quality, etc. And most say he even calls from time to time after the build to make sure you've had no issues. I was actually thinking of the 69-74 351 anyways...
