Me too..I always thought that way too until I got my new winter car which has an Ecoboost engine. It is fast! (and that is with it being a very big car and no mods). I doubt they will get rid of the V8's but you just never know. Plus, if gas doesn't get reasonable, I'm tired of having a V8!

I'm keeping an open mind on this..might be ready for a new Stang around that time. I'd have no problem going to the V6 TT if they were to eliminate the V8 (hoping they don't).
