Your 2V sat higher than the 3V's do and didn't have the VCT shit to deal with. That's the big difference for clearance and emissions issues. Trust me I have had both on my 06 GT and my 02 GT. Big difference between the computers and how the PCM reacts to mods.

For the price, it's not a bad mod. For forced induction long tubes are better, but on a N/A daily driver, you wouldn't really notice much of a difference between the 2. They'll gain you maybe with a tune 10-15hp, but more than anything they enhance the sound of your exhaust.
