Well today I pulled the quarter skin out of the box & did a 1st test fit, & the fit looks quite good. Noe I just have to trim it & re-fit it again.

Well I am still here I just moved out of NY state to the Jersey shore. No pics yet as I am waiting on the quarter panel skin to arrive so I can test fit it. I got it 20% off the regular price, thanks Bruce for the heads up on the sale.:awesomework:

When I had my 68 GT Coupe I ran long tube headders with an "H" pipe & just two glasspacks & then tail pipes out the back. Nice throaty idle & when you got on it, it sounded great & all the sound was out the back not under the car. That is what I am going to do with my 69 Coupe.

Bruce, I have heard that guys will put the car up on 4 jack stands to get the tires off the ground so the tires are not sitting in the same spot for a long time with the weight of the car on them so you dont have a problem with flat spotting the tires. BTW the Mach-1 looks GREAT in...

CC I like that shot of the hood down between the grille on the 70 Cougar instead of the look of the 69 Cougar. Once you get the bugs worked out it will be running. At least it is closer to running then my 69 Coupe is.
