    I know Rich, but I don't mind. I've dealt with LS1's before and LT1's which were just as bad. Its challenging ha ha, but you get use to it. Nothing is as big of a pain as carb motors for me anyway. I'll never go back to dealing with them lol.

    Sounds like your in the same search as me lol. Except I want a hardtop mostly. Found several clean ones, just too many are overpriced for what they are. And most 99-04 GT's are either far as hell away or 100,000+ miles. If I see any verts that look clean I'll give you a shout.

    99-04 2V GT? Or 96-98 4V Cobra? Which would you choose and why? I like both body styles. Just need help deciding lol. I decided against the 99/01 Cobra as most are either very expensive and overpriced, or have very high miles. 99-02 SS/Z-28 is still an option too lol.

    That's pretty much what I said lol. I know all about the IRS. And I'm not looking to build a track car at this point. So ideally it'll come down to price I guess and looks. I was more or less interested in if there were any known issues.

    That's not really a factor either as both pretty much drive the same except the 96-98 launch better, and the 99/01 handle better thanks to the IRS. Also the 96-98 can handle more boost due to the Teskid block being stronger than the Windsor block. I think some 99's still had a Teskid though.

    I think you were thinking of the 95-98 Cobra. Because most parts for the 99/01 are the same as the 03/04 Cobra's. With obvious exceptions.

    I guess I've decided I'm mostly seeking a Cobra now per my future plans it'll be my best choice. No 03/04 as I don't have that kind of money. Mostly looking into 99/01 or 96-98's. If I have to save more, or we can work out some kind of deal, we can do that too.
